Liechtenstein is the smallest, richest country nestled beside Switzerland and Germany. On average, only 80,000 people visit the country a year, so it's still  not as well know as other European cities but has a lot to offer.

Liechtenstein National Archives

The Liechtenstein National Archives aren't really a site to see, as they only house national genealogy records. Although, the building is located in the main square, lots of visitors take pictures of the building because it looks very fancy.

Cathedral of St. Florin

Cathedral of St. Florin is a 19th century church with Neo-Gothic architecture. It is beautiful inside and out. If you are going inside make sure not to use flash and be respectful as there may be people inside. ​

Kunstmuseum

Kunstmuseum is the state museum of modern and contemporary art. Its a great place to walk around if you are into art.

Wander Weg

On the way up to Vaduz Castle there are two popular viewpoints. Make sure to stop and take in the scenery because it's breath taking. The viewpoint is about 120m above the city center and offers views of the city and the Alps.

Vaduz Castle

Vaduz Castle overlooks the city of Vaduz and is the official residence of Liechtenstein's prince. Visitor are allowed to take photos of the castle but obviously are not allowed in the castle. The castle is said to be built in the Middle Ages but has gone restoration in the early 19th century.

Liechtenstein National Museum

The National Museum is about 2000 sq. m with 42 exhibition rooms, so you won't be bored. The museum showcases exhibits that focus on Liechtenstein's history, culture and landscape. However, they also house special exhibitions. This museum has a shop where you can purchase goods made in Liechtenstein. There is also a cafeteria incase you get hungry
