Recently my contract ended, I was torn on whether or not to find a new school or stay at the one I was currently at. When I came to Korea I had no intentions of staying longer than a year, in fact I thought I wouldn't even make it a year because I thought I would get home sick. But, I didn't. I love Korea, which I never thought I would have thought. I know there are a lot of academies in Korea with better working hours, vacation time and other perks. But, I decided to stay at my branch because I love my coworkers, I love my kids and I like knowing what to expect at work. I've heard horror stories from a lot of people, even ones in my training group about not getting paid or their company shutting down. I was scared something like that could happen to be and then I would be screwed, so it would just be easier to stay. As I look back at my year in Korea, I realized I have done a lot of things, but there are still so many things I want to see and do. I feel like I may be missing some stuff. But here is a review of everything I have done in Korea over the past year.
