Sunday, September 7th So we started the day very early. After breakfast, we left the hotel around 8 am to take a tour of the island. We drove through the coastal highway which are along the sea so there was so much great scenery. There is so many beautiful rock and caves made from the volcano. We stopped at a one of the towns to look at turtle rock. I couldn't really see why this rock looked like a turtle...others could but I guess it's just our different perspectives. There are so many little nooks and crannies in this rock. You can go around the entire rock as well, but it's a little slippery so I decided not to do it. In this picture you can tell this rock was made from volcanic lava On the rock there was a tiny little pond, where I found a crab! After we were done with turtle rock we continued on with our tour. Next we moved on to see the white lighthouse and elephant rock (which I didn't get a picture of...not sure why). This is the adventure Korea photo of the group in front of the lighthouse. There were pelicans on the yellow tubes. I never expected to see those here. Too beautiful...and those cute little houses...and the clarity of the water... Jung had the brilliant idea of taking a photo of herself with us in the background, which turned out great! Then, of course I needed a solo! This picture turned out really cool because of how the sun is beaming from behind the mountains! After finishing up with our pictures we kept going on with our tour. the next stop was the underwater observatory. It was about 6 meters under water. So many fishies...the bait works well! This fish made my picture awesome. He made sure to look at me while swimming on by! This place was nice to be for about 10 minutes since there weren't so many fish. So we decided to take some pictures outside, making silly faces. After this place we moved on the see the Angel Rocks. They are supposed to look like 3 Angel sisters but I really can't tell. The legend- There were 3 sisters who were angels. Every night they would sneak down into earth to play in the sea and swim. When their father found out they we not allowed to go back to heaven and were made into statues.
