So training has started :( Goodbye to my sleep! I am still jet lagged and have to go to training for 11 45 am. I know this sounds like not a big deal but it is! The first day of training we were taken by bus, after that we have to take the subway...... Well a 20-30 min subway ride took us 1 hour and 30 min. The subway made sense, we just didn't know how to find the subway we needed to transfer on to who confused us. Thank god for locals who didn't even speak English but took us to where we needed to go! The people here are too nice! But this is the Seoul subway map....It looks a mess! So of course we think were on track and so close to going to the hotel.......of course we go the wrong direction on the subway but we notice it right away. So we get off the subway at Ttukseom Resort on line 7 to go back the way we can from and just when I thought I was never going to see any sight seeing this week we came across the Han River. Just across the Han River I can see the Seoul Tower, one of my destination spots. That's when it actually hit me, i'm really in Korea! I love this places and all the sights that there is to see just from walking around or riding the subway. I'm actually glad we got lost this time! This is what I did after training. Buy some Bulgogi (beef) Kimbap (made from steamed white rice, carrots, egg, radish and cucumber rolled in dried seaweed) and served in bite-size slices) from a Korean restaurant around the corner from my hotel and prep for mocks the next day. Lots of reading and writing. I think I passed out at like 9 pm because I was just too tired. This was a daily routine for me; wake up at 8:30 am leave the hotel at 9:15, be at the training center for 9:45 to practice mocks, then done training at 2 pm but stay until 6 prepping our books and practicing our mocks again. Not fun at all! Can't wait til this is over!
