As I mentioned before, I have had family over from Toronto. Since they stayed with my in my city, Dongtan, they weren't able to do much. In my city there really is nothing to do since it is a newer city and I'm at work most of the day. I had to work Saturday morning, so after I was done work we headed to Seoul. There was so much traffic it took up 2 hrs to get there. We were all so tired we just sat in the hotel room for a little before going back out. It was around 8 pm, so I thought why not go to Namsan Tower. It was about 10 minutes away walking. It's so easy to get there!
Unfortunately, there was a long line when we got there since we were taking the cable car to the top of the mountain. I learned my lesson, the first time I went I walked up thinking it wasn't that high up. It took about an hour and a half of me panting and sweating and taking breaks. Then I didn't take any pictures up there because I felt sweaty and gross. But, with the cable car it took about 2 hrs to get to the top since it was cold and most people wanted to take the cable car. My mother and sister enjoyed it. They loved the love locks, the view and all the cuteness up there. Of course there were a lot of couple, but also a lot of tourists. This is a picture I took when our cable car was coming.
My mommy and I on the love benches! With love lock trees behind us.
With my sister, doing my favorite Korean pose.
I love when people snap pictures of me when i'm not ready.... oh well, this one doesn't look to bad.
This was a great first thing to do together. I like that in Seoul you can really do anything, no matter what time it is. But on the downside, at night it is so cold now. Still had a lot of fun!
