Lotte World has been on my list since I went to Everland. Not because I wanted to go on rides, but because of the Disney World type castle. So after eating at Witch's Kitchen we headed up to the park. Lotte World is very convenient to get to, it is located at Jamsil subway station exit 4, you don't even need to leave the station. Lotte World is both an indoor and outdoor amusement park. Admission is 48k, but if you go after 4pm it goes down to 38k. Lucky for us we got a discount because of BC bank and only paid 20k. Okay, I knew Lotte World was going to be big but I did not expect this at all. There were 4 floors which attractions on each floor. They even had rollercoasters inside and a huge ice rink on the lower floor. LW wasn't very busy for a Saturday surprisingly. But it was also a holiday weekend, so lots of families were travelling. It seemed most of the attractions here were for kids. Inside there was only one rollercoaster where you could see all over the park. They had these really cool balloon rides that went around the whole park. It was similar to a hot air balloon. The first thing we did was go into this fantasy forest. They had a lot of bugs, fish and small rodents. But a lot of kids were running amuck in there and parents weren't even watching them. There was an area with fish where you could put your hands in the water with them and these kids with catching the fish and taking them out of the water and squeezing them. After that, we went to look for something with a short line up. We ended up going on the monorail. It was actually really boring. The door are so high up that you cant see out of the side of the monorail, you have to just look straight. I really wanted to find some better rides because I wasn't very impressed with the things we did so far. As we were walking we saw this little photo area. So I took some silly pictures. Ahhh what I really wanted to see! I have never been to Disney Land, so for me this was really exciting because I've always wanted to go. I mean who hasn't gone to Disney Land? It stopped raining so we went outside to look around. It seems outside is where all the grown-up rides are. They have more roller coasters, spiny rides and rides with drops. So if you're looking for more thrill seeking rides just stay outside. We went to a 3d attraction which was so stupid and we waited in like for about 30 mins. Although I would have liked to go on those rides, it was like 35 degrees C outside so I wanted to go back in. It's so weird being at an amusement park then seeing apartments in the background. I guess only in Korea! I took one my picture of my castle. I had high expectations for Lotte World but I was kind of disappointed. It seems like this is more of a place for little kids. But then again Koreans don't like being scared, so for them these rides are probably really good. We did a lot of 3D and 4D attractions. Some were really crappy and some were really good. But I didn't want to wait in line for the rollercoaster which I regret. But I only paid 20k so it wasn't that big of a deal. But if you are going here I recommend going after 4pm so you can save a bit of money. But maybe going early in the morning will have shorter wait times for rides, Either way do not do any of the 3D attractions, they are a waste of time!
