So, randomly last night my friends and I decided to go to a Jinjabang (Korean spa). A Jinjabang is a public bath and spa. They have hot rooms (saunas) with different temperatures and cold rooms with different temperatures. This floor is also where you would sleep. Oh and the floors are heated! They have rooms where you can sleep on the floor, there is a common area were you can sleep (co-ed) and there is also cubby holes where you can sleep. But unfortunately I didn't get a picture of the cubbyholes to show, next time I will. This is a picture of us hanging out in the hot room! After, we were in the saunas and cold rooms for a good our we decided to go our separate ways to lounge in the Jacuzzi. They're separate for males and females since you have to go in naked and shower. I was so weary about going in just because I heard a lot of older women go to jinjabangs and a lot of foreigners don't go and the whole being butt naked in front of a whole bunch of women. Luckily for me no one was in the jaccuzis. First I went to check the temperature of this pool but it was so cold! So next, I went into the jaccuzi. There was about 4 different jaccuzis with different temperatures. There were ALL sizzling hot. I dipped my foot in each one. But this one was the least hot. It said it was about 30 c. But I had to slowly go in, it felt like my skin was going to burn off. You should refrain from jumping right into it! This is a picture of the pool and all the jaccuzis. For some reason I didn't take a picture of the shower area. I couldn't be in here for a long time it was waaaay too hot for me especially since we did the hot room for an hour. Also, I was alone. So I went upstairs to the common sleep area to wait for the guys. There are lots of other things you can also do at a jinjabang; first off, you can get a scrub down in the shower room.
An older lady will usually ask if you want one, they scrub down your whole body except for the private area. Also, there is a PC room where you can use the computer. You can play ping pong and there is also massage tables and chairs. I'm going to be doing this more often. I felt a lot better in terms of relaxation.
