There is only two weeks left until Christmas. I finally got my Christmas tree and decorations. I saw Christmas trees at Homeplus (Korean Wal-Mart) for a few weeks now, but at the time it was too early to get it. At home I was always the one who wanted to Christmas decorations up and loved to do it. so I had to do it in my apartment, even though I am alone here. So I finally decided today was the day. First, I went to Daiso (Korean dollar store) to get some decorations. Then when I got to Homeplus I noticed the Christmas decorations were just as cheap as Daiso, so I bought more. They had lots of different sizes, so I ended up getting a 5ft tree. Since I will be here next year for Christmas I can reuse it. When I got home I realized the Christmas Tree came with decorations already. Oops. At first I thought Koreans didn't really celebrate Christmas that much, but I guess it depends on the people. While at Homeplus, I saw a lot of women getting Christmas decorations. I'm actually glad that i bought more decorations, because the tree would look a lot more bare without them. Plus, I love the decorations that I bought. I even bought a mistletoe since I will have friends over on Saturday before my birthday I want to see who I can catch under it. I also got these cute bells that were supposed to go on the Christmas tree, but instead I put them on my door handles. All I have left is a wreath for my front door and maybe some lights. I also plan on decorating my classroom at school since I will be teaching on Christmas. Sucky! But I also bought a reindeer headband, i'm sure the students will love it!
