Okay, so i'm always looking for new things to do in Korea. I know Koreans love their coffee so they have so many different types of cafes. Imagine cafes with dogs, cats, sheep, even themed cafes like toys, weddings, etc. Well today I decided to visit the Hello Kitty cafe. I'm not a huge fan of Hello Kitty but I think the whole brand is so adorable and I have a few Hello Kitty necklaces...... So here it is! This is the outside of the cafe. It was not as busy inside as I imagined it would be, but there was still a lot of people inside. They do not serve real food, just cold and hot drinks and deserts, so if you are looking for lunch this is not the place to go. Here are some pictures of the inside... First floor seating area Cakes, waffles, juice galore.... I ordered a green tea latte, which I waited maybe 2 minutes for. After I got my latte, I went upstairs to check out the top floor and found a comfy seat. Here are more pictures. Even my drink has a Hello Kitty head! Love this! Selfie Time! Even the bathroom carries on with the theme!! So I had to take a selfie.... Don't judge me! Visiting cafes in Korea is a great way to sight see. Plus it's free too, well all you have to do is buy a drink. There's even a street devoted to cafes of different themes. So explore, see new things, try new things!
Location: Hongik University subway (Hongdae) 5 minute walk! -Take exit 9 and go straight - Walk until the first major intersection, cross the street and turn left at the light - Then walk up the street, when you hit the third side street turn right - Then walk up for about 1 or 2 minutes, the Hello Kitty cafe is on a little side street, you will not miss the big pink building!
