On Thursdays I finish teaching at 7pm. After class I was starving, so I decided to find something to eat on my way home. I mostly pass by cafes and fried chicken joints; but I felt like having some Korean food today. I always see this one place in my area, but I have no idea what it's called, so I attempted to find it. I'm walking down the street but none of the restaurants look familiar so I was thinking i'll just make something at home.
Then as i'm getting closer to my place I see this restaurant called CBC. So I decided to go in. I look at the menu and mostly everything is in Korean of course but I see a picture of food that I actually recognized so I decided to order it. It was "Bibimbap". Bibimbap is a bowl of rice with carrots, bean sprouts, mushrooms, cucumber, seaweed and courgette with either a raw egg or cooked egg on top, it is usually served in a blistering hot pot. It is served with soup, spicy kimchi (vegetable), and some other dishes not sure what they are for only $6. I was definitely in love. This dish is amazing. Everyone needs to try this at least once!
