While teaching in Korea, you are bound to have a birthday. Finally mine has come!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MEEEEEEE!!!!! Back home I usually wouldn't do much for my birthday because it is always bitterly cold or there's lot of snow. Since i'm in Korea I thought why not? So I've decided to get table service in Gangnam's Club NB (Noise Basement).
First of all, Gangnam is the Beverly Hills of Seoul. It is also where the young, rich and beautiful party. I've been to Club NB once before and had a good time. I've been to another Gangnam club called The A. It was okay, way too much electronic for me and drinks and cover were too expensive. The drinks were also very watered down. But, Club NB plays hip hop, r&b and house. It is one of the only clubs in Gangnam that has more than one genre of music which is why I chose it.
Table service is actually cheaper than I thought. It cost 400,000 won ($400) depending on what you want. I ordered two 750ml bottles of Absolut. The only thing that sucked was their vodka selection!!! With the two bottles of vodka, 2 cranberry juices, 2 orange juices, 5 water bottles, 5 beers and a fruit tray and little muchies were included which is pretty decent. But with table service only 4 people get in for free. I had my Korean friend make the reservations for me so I got him to ask about guestlist, which got everyone in free.
This club is pretty big. There are two floors and three bars. Lucky for us, we were right beside the women's bathroom. The second floor is basically just table service, there is a little dancing space. But this place would be the best place to get your table since it is spacious and more private.
Overall, very epic night that I don't remember for many reasons. But, if you're looking for a club that plays a variety of music and in Gangnam, this would be the best choice!
