After my Hello Kitty cafe trip I really wanted to see the Ihwa Mural Village. It is basically a little neighborhood with paintings on the walls and up the stairs. This place was a little difficult for me to find, even though I followed the directions. I suggest just walking around aimlessly until you find it which it basically what I did. If you just keep going to the highest part of the village you will find this place. Be prepared to spend anywhere for 1.5- 2 hours here. There will most likely be a crowd of people waiting to take pictures with the murals. This was one big mural on the way to the village. Ahhhh the Koi Fish stairs! It was really busy, hence people walking in through my pictures! After I took the picture on the stairs, I met a Korean girl who was exploring on her own. Since we were both alone we decided to walk around together since we both needed someone to take our pictures. She took this picture for me. Then we took lots of pictures together, she is so cute! This was my favorite piece to see. Its a mosaic flower made out of stone. It's so pretty to see! Directions: Get off at Hyehwa Station, Exit 2.
- Walk straight, after the park (Marronnier Park) turn left (cars will be coming out from here) - Walk straight uphill until you can walk up anymore, then go right - Walk straight until you see stairs on your left side and walk up the stairs - After you get up the stairs go right and you will start to see murals
