Another late post....this no internet thing needs to be solved this week! So this weekend my coworker really wanted to go to the Bonguensa Temple by Samseong station. I really didn't feel like going because I had to go to the dentist early in the morning. Also, the weather out here is CRAZY humid. I straighten my hair and before I even leave the house it's puffy. Ughhh #hairproblems. But anyway I decided to go since no one else would go with him. He was going to take forever since getting a bus from Dongtan on a nice Saturday morning will take awhile. So I decided to walk around. This was right outside of the subway station. Koreans love their water fountains!

Okay this is a late post!
So 2 weeks ago my co-workers and I decided to check out the Gyeonggyecheon steam in Seoul. I actually went there the same day I went to Ihwa Mural village but it was pouring rain so nothing was going on. It was a very hot day so there were lots of families and couples by the stream. Before we got to the stream we wandered around. Then we came upon this. So, I haven't had internet for about a week and a half. Hopefully I will be getting it back this week! If not my posts will be a lot less frequent....
Anyways, this weekend my co-workers and I decided to check out the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP). It just opened this year in March. Its this big park with a big weird shaped building. It's very modern and futuristic, it has lots of stores inside selling eco friendly good and other stuff. They also have exhibitions inside with art and some other things. To go inside it's free but to see the exhibitions there is a fee for all the different exhibitions. This is what it looks like from across the street. As you can see it stands out a lot. |
