After my Hello Kitty cafe trip I really wanted to see the Ihwa Mural Village. It is basically a little neighborhood with paintings on the walls and up the stairs. This place was a little difficult for me to find, even though I followed the directions. I suggest just walking around aimlessly until you find it which it basically what I did. If you just keep going to the highest part of the village you will find this place. Be prepared to spend anywhere for 1.5- 2 hours here. There will most likely be a crowd of people waiting to take pictures with the murals.

Okay, so i'm always looking for new things to do in Korea. I know Koreans love their coffee so they have so many different types of cafes. Imagine cafes with dogs, cats, sheep, even themed cafes like toys, weddings, etc. Well today I decided to visit the Hello Kitty cafe. I'm not a huge fan of Hello Kitty but I think the whole brand is so adorable and I have a few Hello Kitty necklaces...... So here it is! This is the outside of the cafe.
I've always had goals of going to the gym and getting fit. I always find that I would get a good routine going and then all of a sudden stop. Then this pole fitness craze started happening. I've been dying to try it out for the past 2 years before I got to Korea, yet I couldn't get anyone to come with me. I was way too shy to try it alone.
Then I came to Korea. One day on my way to work I saw a pole dancing sign and I got so excited, but again I had no one to go with. It's a lot worse when the instructor doesn't speak English. So I didn't end up going. Finally I got a new female co-worker 2 months ago then randomly found out a few weeks ago she was doing the class so I went with her. Summer is a great time in Korea, as it is everywhere else. There are always lots more things to do and places are over later and you can just sit outside and relax. The post is about the top 5 things you should do in the summer while in Korea. ![]() 1. Jeju Island is a little getaway for Koreans. It's so beautiful and peaceful. Everything is natural on Jeju Island and there is also a ton of things to do. There are yacht tours, submarine tours, sex museums, beautiful waterfalls, beaches, etc. There are two ways to get there, by boat or plane. Plane is not very expensive either. I can't wait until I go there! |
