It's officially summer! Which means......PATIO SEASON! What better way to enjoy the summer, than to sip a nice cold beer or cocktail with a great view of the city! Lately, rooftop bars/cafe's are the newest growing trend. They have quickly become plentiful in the city, but are also quite busy. Some are even quite exclusive that they do not accept walk-ins. Nevertheless, these rooftop bars/cafes will always put you into the summer mood, even if it's 40 degrees with humidity out here.

PP Rooftop lounge

PP is one of those rooftops lounge's that looks like it belongs beside an ocean in the Mediterranean, with the white draping, bamboo trees and lanterns that set the mood. It's also pretty exclusive. The first time I walked in with friends, they said all the tables or booked on the rooftop, luckily we already told him we already made a reservation. So, check out their instagram to make reservations.
Closest Station: Noksapyeong Station Exit #2
Address: 3, Sowol-ro 44ga-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul

Mysky// KAKAO MAP

For some reason My Sky does not have an actual Instagram page. However, you can search the location on instagram in Hangeul. Nonetheless, it's still a popular hangout spot in Itaewon. There is even a famous actor that frequents there quite often.
Closest Station: Noksapyeong Station Exit #2
Address: 210-6, Noksapyeong-daero, Yongsan-gu, Seoul

Avant Garde is a cute place to hangout with friends. There's no loud music and it's not usually crowed because it's down the street from other popular rooftop bars. If you are looking for a chill place to relax, check out this lounge. Do not order food! The portions are quite small for what you are paying.
Closest Station: Noksapyeong Station Exit #2
Address: 18, Noksapyeong-daero 46-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul

Urban Beach//INSTAGRAM

Hongdae's Urban Beach is a popular hangout spot. Cocktails, snacks and sand are just some of the things you will get when you visit. It's definitely got a different atmosphere than other rooftops because it makes you feel like you are actually on a beach.
Closest Station: Sangsu Station Exit #1
Address: 38, Dongmak-ro 9-gil, Mapo-Gu, Seoul

Seoulism Rooftop cafe

Seoulism is one of those cafe's that became famous from its infamous 'Seoul" sign. This cafe is located in Jamsil, so it's quite a ways from Itaewon. If you are ever hanging out in Gangnam it's definitely worth a visit.
Closest Station: Songpanaru Station Exit #1
Address: 435, Baekjegobun-ro, Songpa-gu, Seoul

Casa Corona

Casa Corona// INSTAGRAM

Currently, Casa Corona is the hottest place to be in Seoul. It only opened in September of 2018, so this is it's first summer open and it's already packed. The best time to come on Saturdays around 4:30pm, so you can get a seat. They have amazing signature cocktails made with Corona of course.
Closest Station: Itaewon Station Exit #3
Address: 7, Bogwang-ro 60-gil, Yongsan-gu, Seoul

The Finest// INSTAGRAM

It's definitely one of the finest rooftop lounges I've ever seen. Most of the rooftop lounges in Seoul are quite beautiful, however, The Finest Lounge has the most picturesque views of Namsan tower. If you're hungry order the Imperico Pork Steak!
Closest Station: Noksapyeong Station Exit #2
Address: 41, Hoenamu-ro, Yongsan-gu, Seoul

1987 Rooftop Lounge// INSTAGRAM

If you are looking for a cozy place to hangout on the weekend, 1987 definitely has good vibes. There are two locations in Seoul; one in Gangnam, the other in Hongdae. The Gangnam location has better views because of it's location and isn't as busy as the other location.
Closest Station: Sangsu Station Exit #1// Nonhyeon Station Exit #2
Address: 43 Dongmak-ro 9-gil, Seogyo-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul// 31, Hakdong-ro 2-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul

I have a lot of questions in my mind and one of that is asking the people the reason why they are so in love with drinking some coffee. Is it a hobby that will describe their social status or is it a great moment to create in the middle of a conversation. These questions are the things that are going through in my mind, I may not answer some of the questions right away but there will be some people that will enlighten me. These people are always seeking for that special place and have that hot coffee that they want, the suggestions that we have in the blog are really useful and people will be happy to go in the said places.

I have many friends around the world. Every now and then, whenever we can get together, we will pick new places to meet and catch up with each other. I personally love to discover new places, new food and new friends. I am planning to document all my walks of life and make my own blog to share it with people who have the same interest as mine. Maybe I can give them tips on where to go, what to expect and what to prepare. Hope i can make them satisfy with my own blog content.
