These past weekends I have been clubbing a lot more than usual....3 weekends in a row to be precise, since I have been working 10-12 hour shifts at work because of our summer immersion program. The immersion program is when students come to the academy starting at 10 am and are there until 4 pm and still go to their regular classes at the academy. So most days I would be there from 10am-10pm. Obviously I needed to unwind and drink.
But this past weekend was our last week for those shifts so we went out to celebrate. First we went to Itaewon to eat. We decided on a cute restaurant call Les Deux Plats, ironically it's Italian food not French. We wanted to be fancy so we ordered sangria.....not worth it, it was a really small pitcher and was $40. Everything in Itaewon is overpriced! It also tasted like juice.
Also, usually with a pitcher you usually get more than 1 glass, in this case we only got 1 glass. I wouldn't recommend getting a pitcher of sangria. There were so many good options on the menu. I got Seafood pasta with calamari, mussels and shrimp, it was really good. Also, it was a pretty good portion. Other people I was with had steak which looked really good but was like $36. My meal was $16.
After we were done eating we went through a little alley way outside of the restaurant. It was so beautiful, it felt like I was somewhere in Europe, so I had to take a picture. But of course my co-worker had to ruin it! I would definitely go here again, but just not order any alcohol.
