Okay this is a late post!
So 2 weeks ago my co-workers and I decided to check out the Gyeonggyecheon steam in Seoul. I actually went there the same day I went to Ihwa Mural village but it was pouring rain so nothing was going on. It was a very hot day so there were lots of families and couples by the stream. Before we got to the stream we wandered around. Then we came upon this.
As we walked on we came across this art. It was so cute, it looked as if kids designed these umbrellas.
Cheonggyecheon stream is a place where people just go to relax by the water without having to go to the river. This stream actually used to be a highway once upon a time.
There are lots of small and big fish in this stream. In some areas of the stream you are not allowed to stand especially in the areas I took pictures of. If you want to stand you have to be in an area where the water doesn't have a strong current.
Under the bridges they have these huge stones made into a wall. The designs are so nice!
After the stream my coworkers wanted to see Ihwa Mural village. They really liked my pictures from a few weeks ago so I told then i'd take them there. While there I actually stumbled on some things I didn't see the last time.
I also saw this on the wall and thought it was really cute, so I had to take a picture.
Towards the end of the night there was a beautiful sunset. The colours were so nice, in pictures it doesn't look at that impressive, but it was. Great way to end a day!
